Alphabet for the Soul-L is for Love
Happy Monday, friends!
I hope your day is off to a great coffee-fueled start. I'm dealing with jet lag. No fun. I'm going to be dragging and working on my deadline all week. If you could keep me in prayer, that would be wonderful, but we had the very best time.
I'll be sure to share some pictures on my Facebook Page this week. I've been struggling with health issues so it was such a blessing to be able to go and enjoy my time there. A great thanks to my friends who were praying me through! I hope you all have great friends in your life you love you and prayer for you, but I know you have at least one and the most important One--God.
Do you know God says:
"I have called you by name and you are mine." ~Isaiah 43:1b
The God of the entire universe and everything in it has called you by name. He knows you and he loves. And, most importantly, He is always with you. God says:
"...Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5b
God loves us and is always with us. I can't think of a better friend. Someone who loves us despite our flaws, our mistakes, our pasts. Someone who loves us because we are His. Someone who never leaves our side. Amen?

What about you? Do you have a friend who has stuck by you in thick and thin? God has blessed me with Lisa who has been my friend for nineteen years and man have we had some adventures. I smile just reflecting on them. Take some time to reflect on your friendships and on God today and let him love on your heart.
